My Story
I have always had a genuine interest in having a meaningful connection with people in a helping capacity, reflected in my most recent careers as a Special Education Instructional Assistant at a middle school and a Postpartum Support Specialist, assisting families with newborn care. Both of these required compassion, care, strategies, and guidance.
I felt a calling to start a career in real estate after going through the home buying and selling process with my husband 4 years ago, leaving our home of 22 years where we raised our 2 children, and relocating to the Texas Hill Country to be closer to our beautiful grandkids. I realized that people need not only an expert in all of the details of the transaction, but also a supportive and knowledgeable guide to help navigate the process.
I love exploring all that San Antonio and the Hill Country have to offer. It is truly one of the most beautiful places in the world, and I feel fortunate to call this home. I believe in connecting and giving back to my community and am a volunteer with the Bulverde Thrift Store (a non-profit that raises money for the local food bank and senior center) and with Project 10:27 (a non-profit that helps with outreach to the seniors in our community).
I live in Bulverde with my husband of 33 years and our rambunctious dog Lily. I have 2 adult children and 2 grandchildren that I am lucky to live close to! When I'm not helping my clients I love to hang out with my family and grandkids. I also love to travel, bake (I make a mean sourdough bread!), garden, attend yoga class, and make quilts for family and friends.
My Passion
Experiences in my own life with my dad, stepdad and now my mom, who is currently in memory care, have led me to specialize in seniors real estate. I provide help with a broad spectrum of services, specializing in aging in place safely, downsizing, relocation, and senior living options. I am a Seniors Real Estate Specialist®, Certified Aging in Place Specialist, and Certified Senior Housing Professional. Along with the knowledge I have gained, I have a team of resources and referral partners for seniors and for their adult children trying to navigate all of the choices above so that we can create a tailored action plan for each unique situation and reduce any overwhelm for the family. I consider it an honor to work in finding the right solutions and education to help in whatever way I can. I would love to hear your story and what your goals are for the future.
